Uzbek dance won first place at national dance competition in Bangkok

September 10-13, 2020 at the “Aksra Theater King Power” in Bangkok, the Ministry of culture of Thailand and institute “The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing” (CSTD) organized a dance competition with the participation of groups representing various regions of the Kingdom of Thailand.

A total of 1,396 participants from 21 teams competed for the victory in various categories.

We are very pleased to inform you that the Uzbek dance “O‘zbek raqsi”, staged by our compatriot, a pupil of the Uzbekistan Choreography State academy of Kuralbay Saparov, took the first place and won the nomination “National Foreign Dance”.

We congratulate the team of “Bangkok Dance Academy” under the leadership of Kuralbay Saparov with the 1st place and wish success in further strengthening the image of Uzbek dance abroad.
