Visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Ankara

On January 29, the delegation of our country headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov visited the city of Ankara, Turkiye, to participate at the 2nd Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan-Turkey Trilateral Ministerial Meeting.
At the reception of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the greetings and letter of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev were delivered. The brotherly atmosphere established between leaders creates the strongest foundations for closest cooperation in every sphere.
A productive meeting of the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey took place before the forum. It was noted that the potential of the alliance is enormous and that shoulder-to-shoulder cooperation can open up unlimited opportunities for future generations. The agenda of the meeting included issues of trade and economy, transport, effective diplomacy, dynamic investment cooperation, increasing the volume of trade and expanding relations, mutual alliance.
During his visit to Turkiye, a number of bilateral meetings were held. In particular, at the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Program of activities on celebration of three decades of diplomatic relations was signed. The most urgent topics of cooperation and plans for 2025 were exchanged.
Also, in the meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, attention was paid to expanding strategic cooperation relations, increasing trade turnover, and strengthening relations between nations.
The Ankara Declaration was signed as a successful result of the 2nd Trilateral meeting with the ministers responsible for foreign affairs, trade, economy and transport.
