Visa requirements for Thai citizens
1. A VISA-FREE REGIME for up to 5 days. Uzbekistan introduces a visa-free entry regime for foreigners under 16 – no longer than 90 days, and all transit air passengers – no longer than 5 days. Citizens of 101 countries, including Thailand, travelling to a third country if they have an Uzbekistan Airways air ticket to a third country through the international airports of Uzbekistan can stay in Uzbekistan for up to 5 days without visas. This procedure applies to transit air passengers wishing to see Uzbekistan’s sights.
2. E-VISA system (https://e-visa.gov.uz/main). The consular fee for registering and issuing an electronic entry visa is 20 USD. The e-visa will be issued for a period of stay of up to 30 days and will be valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Payment for the visa can be made through international payment systems. To receive the e-visa, you should apply at least three working days before the planned travel date to Uzbekistan. The e-visa will be issued and sent by e-mail in 2 working days.
3. Visa through the Consulate-General in Bangkok.
Applicant must make an appointment for the consular reception at https://e-navbat.mfa.uz/texnolog/view?id=446&language=en and should bring the filled visa application form at https://visa.mfa.uz/site/index (a photo and a passport copy should be attached during the filling online application form).
